Read Janet Kutner's Appreciation of Donald S. Vogel,
"Love for art stirred a gruff gallery owner," in the Dallas Morning News on February 22, 2004.
Kevin Vogel recently penned an essay on the philosophy and studio practice of his father, artist Donald S. Vogel, that can be read on the FAE Collector Blog. As the middle child of three, Kevin grew up watching his father paint and listening to him talk about his work with other artists and friends. So, while his voice and actions still resonate, Kevin thought it wise to document what he saw and heard while watching Donald paint and listening in on his art-related conversations over the years.
